1) Fast Food

Most foods you get from a fast food aren’t provide any nutritional benefit. Fast foods including fries, burgers, nuggets, etc. are often packed with sodium, unhealthy fats, and refined sugars. This combination overtime can have a negative effect on the body as a whole. 


For your stomach though, the processed meats containing saturated fats, and the processed sugars from carb sources (fries, cookies, etc.), are not used for the benefit of the body. Instead, these types of refined sugars and fats deposit in the body, commonly in the stomach. Refined sugars do not provide as much of a natural source of energy for the body and can actually make us feel more tired.

2) White Bread

Also a refined carbohydrate, white bread is another food which added to the list of foods to avoid for a flat stomach. Aside from providing little nutritional benefit, white bread contains a higher amount of sugar compared to whole grain bread. Additionally, in comparison with whole grains, white bread contains a lower amount of fiber. Don’t even get me started on Pringles, which claim to be potato chips but are only 42% potato, leaving 58% of unhealthy additives. Even the “baked” varieties of chips have more sodium and fat than you need.
Potatoes themselves tend not to be the healthiest of foods. Although they include a lot of nutrients that can be beneficial to your body, they are high in carbs, and they can release an unhealthy chemical if they are baked or fried.

You may think the salad you made at home and are about to dig into will help you to flat stomach. After all, salad is healthy. However, the salad dressing you bought at the store with your head held high for making healthy choices is not as healthy as you think. Drop processed salad dressings to drop the pounds.
