There are two types of sugar 1. natural sugar 2. added sugar.
natural sugar is found in fruit , milk, and some whole grains, Added sugar , like high fructose corp syrup, is sugar that is added to processed foods and drinks , such as cookies, cereals, and soda. there are a few main areas where sugar can affects is :-

1. BRAIN - Added sugar can be as addictive as drugs, tobacco, or alcohol. it affects same region of the brain, it triggering the sensor to release dopamine. dopamine makes you eat more , even if you are not hungry. sugar also can cause headaches, including migraine. sugar can contribute to mild memory loss.

2. LEVER - When you consume too much added sugar, your lever has to work more to process it.excess sugar in lever can turns into fat. and as we all know fat can lead to liver damage other health disease like cholesterol, diabetes, or heart disease.

3. PANCREAS - When you consume too much sugar it can also damage your pancreas, pancreas controls the blood sugar called insulin that powers your muscles and organs. As we know lack of insulin can cause muscles and nerve damage.

There are other some reasons why sugar is bad for you:-
1. sugar can weaken eyesight and cause cataracts.
2. sugar can contribute to obesity and diabetes.
3. sugar can cause depression.
4. sugar causes constipation.
4.sugar can causing premature aging.
5. sugar can cause tooth decay.
6. sugar can heart disease.
7.sugar can suppress the immune system.
8. sugar increases estrogen in men.
9. sugar can cause hormonal imbalance , some hormones become under active and others become            over active.


Sugar effects following on children:-
1. hyperactivity
2. difficulty
3. crankiness
4. anxiety



(consuming more than 9 teaspoons of sugar a day for men and 6 teaspoons for women can lead to health problems)


  • one 354 ml can of soda contains 9 teaspoons of sugar.
  • one serving of sugary breakfast cereal contains 8-10 teaspoons of sugar.
  • one full sized chocolate bar contains 5.5-8.5 teaspoons of sugar.

  • One apple contains 2.5 teaspoons of sugar.
  • Two tablespoons of peanut butter contains less than 1 teaspoon of sugar. 

  • A handful of plain almonds contains less than 1 teaspoon of sugar.

so its your choice what to choose, red one or green one.
Limit added sugar in your diet by making healthy choices.

Eat fresh fruits instead of pie and cakes.
